  • Salon Business Information: Services offered, pricing, hours of operation, staff/technician profiles, photos, and other content you upload to your salon website.
  • Customer Information You Manage: When you use LOA to manage your salon's customers, you may input their names, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment history, and notes. You are responsible for obtaining proper consent from your customers before entering their information into LOA.
  • Payment Information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
  • Communications: Records of correspondence when you contact our support team.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, and click patterns within the Service.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, device identifiers.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

If you sign in using a third-party service (e.g., Google), we receive basic profile information from that service in accordance with their privacy policies and your authorization.

3. SMS and Text Messaging

3.1 SMS Communications from LOA

If you opt in to receive SMS messages from LOA, we may send:

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

3.2 SMS Sent on Behalf of Salon Owners

LOA enables salon owners to send SMS messages to their customers for booking confirmations, reminders, marketing, and other salon-related communications. When a salon owner uses LOA to send SMS:

  • The salon owner is responsible for obtaining proper consent from their customers before sending any SMS.
  • All SMS messages sent through LOA include opt-out instructions (Reply STOP).
  • LOA processes opt-outs automatically and maintains a suppression list to honor those requests.
  • LOA is the SMS service provider; the salon owner is the message sender of record.

3.3 Opt-Out

To stop receiving SMS messages, reply STOP to any message. To get help, reply HELP. You may also email us at support@loasalon.com to request removal from SMS lists.


4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including:
    • Supabase (database and authentication hosting)
    • Vercel (web hosting and infrastructure)
    • Stripe (payment processing)
    • Twilio (SMS delivery)
    • Resend (transactional email delivery)
    • Google (analytics and authentication)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share specific information.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Salon owners are responsible for their own customer data retention policies regarding the information they manage through LOA.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
